LAHORE: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) is reviewing names of senior officers who are likely to visit London and Dubai in the next week to gather evidence of assets owned by the Sharif family in foreign countries.
The corruption cases regarding Avenfield apartment in London, Al-Azizia Steel Mills, and Hill Metal Establishment are being investigated by Lahore and Rawalpindi NAB.
A team comprising 3 to 4 members will visit foreign countries under mutual legal agreement to collect crucial evidence for Sharif family assets.
Earlier, the NAB had requested the United Kingdom, United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Saudi Arabia for documents in the cases and also received some important papers.
However, no response has been received from the UK; therefore, the team will visit in person to collect the evidence.
